Wow! What a trip that was.
It was our first ever Ski Trip (but not international obviously) and it worked brilliantly.
It only took the Scouts 24 hours to get used to the daily routine of living in the hostel.
A few groans about the Polish Food to start with, but after explaining it's freshly made, home cooked, healthy food and they should try before saying anything about it, the groans faded away.
Now the skiing... The progress made from day one to the end of the last session was amazing. They were fast learners and became quite confident by the end. I'm sure if we were there for another week they wouldn't of minded.
And lastly... The fun and laughter during the Apres Ski activities. Tobogganing was so fast, and falling off on soft snow didn't matter. Chilling in the pool (including rolling in the snow in swimwear) gave the muscles a nice break and the sleigh ride and BBQ was a nice way to end the week with newly made and stronger friendships.
It was a pleasure taking everything single young (and old) person away, and we hope they all had a great time with memories to last a life time.
